Requirements to Become a Tutor

Hold at least a degree-level qualification in the subject area you wish to tutor.
Have a recent Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or PVG Disclosure in Scotland) covering Child Workforce.
Be registered with the DBS Update Service for ongoing monitoring.
Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and the necessary equipment for virtual teaching. If you can also provide face-to-face tutoring, that’s a welcome addition.
Be a resident of and eligible to work in the UK (England, Scotland, or Wales).
Demonstrate values of honesty, integrity, and commitment to student progress.
